Overview
More
The Bass & Flinders Centre is the home of "The Norfolk", the full sized replica of the Norfolk that Bass and Flinders sailed from Sydney and around Tasmania in 1798. This full sized replica has sailed the same journeys albeit 200 years later - to the day. Additionally we have a host of restored wooden boats, all with a history of the area.

Thank you for your review. I agree and only yesterday I noted that they were in a poor location. So will move them immediately. Hope it did not detract too much from your visit.

The feature that our museum is proud of is the ability to take a hands visit to the Norfolk. It is indeed a work of art and gives that insight you mentioned on life in those day. Thank you for your review.
