For lovers of train travel in miniature this is a great family activity. Run by retired engineers & train enthusiasts. The replica station and interior is unique and the surrounds worth wandering around. People running the place are happy to engage and show visitors around.

We have experienced the miniature trains at Inchiquin Lake at Clare a few times now. The children and adults alike really enjoy it. The rides are excellent value at $2 each. I can't think of anywhere else that gives such good value for money. The trains are safe and set up like the countryside. There are bridges and tunnels to... More

Have some fund with the kids. $2 per ride, take a picnic lunch and sit on the lawn, then go for a train ride! Our kids loved it

This attraction was next to our accommodation so we wandered over to have a look. Everyone was so welcoming and one of the members even gave us a tour of the workshop and clubrooms. The ride on the little train was great and it was so inexpensive. Well worth it especially for train lovers

We were here for the Saturday twilight rides What a great attraction for kids & adults alike. The " journey train " was more than we expected and covers a large area amongst trees and grounds- well done to the dedicated team who run this fun activity

We were staying in the Clare Country Club and took a walk around the lake and came across the miniature railway and a number of the local volunteer engineers who were working on site. As the train only runs on fortnightly weekends we were not able to ride but were invited into take a look at the engines and were... More
