We were so disappointed (especially after having to pay $10 each) to see this beautiful old mansion in such disrepair. The place is still literally falling apart.

An interesting look at our colonial past and how the rich lived. The house itself is very interesting alone but the stories and embelishments added by the volunteers makes it so much more.

Fascinating insight into earlier and more prosperous days for this home. Crying shame that it was left to ruin for 40 years.
