Great location. Our apartment was old & tired and had doors and knobs falling off every time we opened one. When we contacted management about it we received no response. Wifi is non existent. They shouldn't advertise that they have it as part of the features of booking because it simply doesn't work.

Need some sort of dog area , dogs running around, in the water,
Dogs jumping up at me and my kids.
Dogs defecating in the sand.
Love dogs , not inconsiderate owners who descend on the beach around 4 till 6. Must be locals
Doggone it
Lovely beach though.

I LoveTrinity Beach i used to live here,
Its a great place to visit and fish, accommodation is Awesome.
But unfortunately its getting run over by Dogs.
As im writing this two dogs on leads just got
Into a dog fight next to me while im sitting there.
one owner could not have cared less.
I was attacked many years ago so im very anxious.
This beach is for dogs not us holiday makers wonting to lay on the beach or swim.
So disappointed in trinity beach now
While im sitting here four dogs off leads.

25 minutes from cairns .Stayed for 10 days. Has a nice beach and covered bbq and croc swimming area but preferred a place with safety of a pool and there are plenty of places to stay with pool but remember most pools are not heated so can be very cold in the cooler season.
Has a few places to eat at reasonable prices like the beach house, trinity tavern which do a great parmigiana and mean large also there is a great Italian restaurant on the corner called L,unica we had brunch there.
But if you want up market and yuppie palm cove is 10 minutes drive .

Quiet nice sandy beach, good to swim, it’s not long so walking along the beach is limited. There are 5 restaurants and a small convenience shop. Bus 111 goes to Coles and local shopping center every hour, free on weekends.
There is also a Liquorland Trinity Beach shop with a good choice of beers, wines and spirits. The main entrance is from Moore street, not from esplanade as Google map suggests.
All in all it’s a nice place, much quieter than Palm cove or Port Douglas

I walk this beach most days each time I visit and still am sad that I can't swim in such a beautiful setting.Yes I have swam once in the nets but does not have the sense of free swimming. Crocs and stingers are at this beach. The surrounds are pleasant however for walking ,having a picnic/coffee with some great eateries near by. Well worth a visit and a walk especially to read the history boards and walk the foreshore.

Clean beach, has undertow and designated areas enclosed for swimming as crocodiles and stingers are in the area. Also life savers at the enclosed swimming area. Lovely cool walk along the beach front, lots of shady trees and well maintained gardens. Quiet area,
Well maintained. Will definitely be staying in the Trinity Beach area on future visits.

Always somewhere to go when visiting Cairns. Such a beautiful beach to stroll along as clean and view is special. The area has cafes, places to stay so wonderful place for families or couples to enjoy a lovely relaxing time. Beach has stinger net so you can enjoy swimming all year round. Also has life savers in attendance. Picnic area had many families. Make sure you see this gorgeous area if visiting Cairns

Trinity beach is a beautiful scenic spot with lovely clean sand and a stunning outlook. The water is fairly warm, even in July.
The vibe is like a smaller version of Palm Cove.
Main downside is the dog off leash area which contradicts the tranquil nature of the beach.

Loved Trinity Beach. A nice little village with a beautiful beach and great cafes and Trinity Beach Tavern was amazing at night time. We ate there one night and food was amazing. Great atmosphere overlooking the beach. During the day it was nice just to park the car and wander from one end of the beach to the other checking out the shops and people watching. Lots of nice places to stay too.

Hi, I’m thinking about heading north in June for a week with my 1 year old. Just wondering if people recommend Trinity Beach or Palm Cove? Thanks
Written 17 November 2019
Trinity beach is small and tranquil. Perfect for kids. Palm cove is a bit livelier with more eating options

Hi, my family and I are going to be in the Trinity beach area the first week of September. What bus services are available on a daily basis to get to local attractions like Kuranda Koala Gardens? Is there a website to view timetables? Thanks!
Mary

We didn't use the local bus services, however I think there some that are hourly and stop at the Sky Rail. It only takes about 10 mins drive.

How to reach to trinity beach from abott st
Written 28 July 2019
I'm assuming you mean Abbott St Cairns city! Uber will get you to Trinity beach for UberX: A$32-43, Assist: A$32-43, UberXL: A$52-69 in about 20 minutes depending on traffic. Cabs are roughly the same price and public transport is available. Trinity Beach has a large swimming area enclosed with stinger netting.
If you have a hirer car just use your google maps to navigate there.

I found Palm cove to be a better beach although all along the coast there are some excellent beaches

Hi mark why would you post on Trinity Beach Trip advisor and rate it a 1 star when your beef was with a Thai restaurant.
That A chef turned the grill off a little early
Written 10 April 2018
I actually went to that Thai restaurant one evening and although a little slow service wise i thought the food was pretty good i must admit i did go quite early in the evening not too sure about the takeaway side of things

Hi I am heading up here on my own next week for a break I am a bit scared to go to the beach we’re there stingers nets and did they work. Also were there crocodiles at the beach? Thanks Anne
Written 8 April 2018
Thanks for your question. Swimming in the nets is usually very safe. We also have excellent Surf Life Savers on Duty at many northern beaches. As I have lived in the area for over three years, we always take precautions when swimming anywhere along the beaches. Trinity Beach, among others, can have croc sightings. However, if you check out the nets, and the water is clear, you can see when it is perfectly safe. We never swim at nights - EVER - and we don't swim outside the nets. I am always surprised that tourists let their toddlers paddle near the edge. That's not safe. However. I don't want to dissuade you from the excellent opportunity to swim at our beach. Also, if you are concerned, and you are travelling around, Babinda Boudlers is a MUST for a day out of safe swimming, a barbeque and some nice walks. Again, only swim when it is safe to do so, not after a big rain. The water at Babinda is so nice, you won't ever want to leave. Also, at Trinity Beach, if you walk along to the headland, you can stay a while, sit on the bench and watch the big green turtles pop up out of the water. They live there.

Is this beach safe for swimming during Nov and Dec ? I saw some posts saying there are crocodiles...
Written 18 April 2017
As the others said, no problem if you follow the warnings and obey the signs. I understand that normally the crocs would only be found in the creek way down the beach form the supervised area anyway.
