I highly rate Mooloolaba as a family holiday destination. We have visited Noosa also. Mooloolaba has all the pros with restaurants, bars, great beach and destinations to visit close by. I would estimate Mooloolaba is approximately 15% -20% cheaper overall compared to Noosa. Some people...More

Mooloolaba Beach is a great spot, lots to do for young and old. Just taking a stroll or playing games even a swim. It is manned by lifesavers.

Mooloolaba Beach is absolutely stunning. You have a beautiful boardwalk being built that runs from the surf club through to the pier/dock area. Perfect for families as there are trees to settle under for shade and crystal clear water.

A fabulous beach, with flagged area for swimming and a flat beach for great long walks. Some days the beach had great surf other days it was calm depending of the wind.

Fantastic beach to walk along for many kilometres with great scenery. Best to walk before the wind gets up in the afternoon. Many spots to stop and rest for a drink, snack or even a meal.

While at Mooloolaba for a week , we visited the beach fishing & the grandchildren played & paddled . Most of the fish were undersize so we returned them to the ocean .

I've never seen kangaroos near Mooloolaba beach, but then I'm not a local. Perhaps someone who lives around there can provide more information about 'roos in the area.

No you won't be able too bring your own barby. Best to have some kind soul go and claim a vacant one, if there is one, at around 3pm. You could also try the river front at Cotton Tree, there are a few more there. Or... More
