We rang Everglades Gardens to pre book a coach tour. The lady responding to our call welcomed the inquiry, but advised us that our 53 seater coach could not park outside the attraction. The driver would need to drop us off, find a park for the coach in Leura, and return to pick us up when we had finished the... More

The first time we visited this beautiful place was in October which would have to be the best time to go there as everything is blooming. We came again for the second time to share this spectacular garden with our mum and she loved it.... and don't forget to smile when you buy your ticket :)

The garden has undergone a renovation in recent years as has the house. As a Sorensen garden it is a eyeopener to see how gardens were constructed in past years before mechanisation. More work is still needed on the garden and some of the older trees need attention but a very worthwhile place to roam and admire.

The garden in Spring is a delight. Designed by Paul Sorensen, the garden is awash with colour in October and November. Views of the valley from several outlook points enhance the spectacle. Visit the house to see the Art Deco style and also to have a break with their tea and coffee and cakes. The Gallery in the garden had... More

We enjoyed our walk round the gardens, particularly the grotto and the lookout point. The 1930's house did nothing for us but its outlook was special. Being members of the UK National Trust gave us free admission.

Interesting house and very good gardens. European design with a number of 'rooms'. Well planted and well maintained. Good tearoom with tasty sandwiches and cake.

I love this place. I'm eternally grateful to the national trust for buying this place & restoring it to its former glory. I visited here in the late 1980's & it was very overgrown. A fabulous example of Paul Sorensen's work and being able to wander amongst the 13 acres & the house was a dream come true. This place... More

We hadn't heard about these gardens until a local person recommended them as a rainy day alternative to our plans. They are lovely, and can be fully enjoyed in a couple of hours.

The Everglades House and Gardens are magnificent, it is delightful to walk around, the azaleas were all in flower, a lovely display of colors. The house is a pleasure to walk around in, see the old glory. And to round it of we enjoyed a proper plunger cafe and a lovely piece of cake on the veranda, served by the... More
