What a great entertainer!. Experience his life & career through photos, his collection of Golden Guitars, his travels, his mates. Watch his life story on 2 episodes of "This is Your Life". A very interesting place!

The Slim Dusty Centre is an awesome place to visit this will be our families 3rd visit to the centre and we thoroughly enjoy it every time. We live in central qld and it is a 10 hr drive for us. Well worth the trip.

Food and coffee was good, but not cheap. Service was very good and the cafe was clean. Slim Dusty museum is good value.

A very well presented architecturally designed building with a well laid out parking area is a fitting memorial for one of Australia's most popular country and western singers. The museum is well laid out and a comprehensive tribute to Slim's life and achievements from a...More

A great way to learn about Slim Dusty, his life and of course all of his achievements. Be sure to fill in the quiz that comes with entry fee. Who would have known how many Km's that old ford had travelled.

Have been to this venue as part of a group. Feel that it is overpriced for what is on view. The film of slim was the same as a video I bought several years ago, so was disappointed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Had...More

Wow, beyond my expectations, it’s huge, well staffed, plenty to see and do, staff in gift shop lovely, worth the stop for brunch or lunch. Take the time to stop, it’s worth it even if you’re not a fan.

We had lunch here 12 months ago & enjoyed it. Today stopped for lunch, very poor basic selection, pies, sausage rolls & sandwiches. We will not be coming here to eat again. This comment is limited to Dusty Cafe.

You might look up places around Newcastle, which is about 2 and a bit hours from Sydney. Another option if you like wineries could be to stop at Pokolbin in the Hunter Valley and is a lovely place to explore. I'm not sure... More

Just head north on the Pacific Highway until you reach the Kempsey exit which takes you along the Macleay Valley Way into Kempsey. You pass the Slim Dusty Centre along the way. You can't miss it.
