Wonderful picnic spot

A great place for a picnic and for those who want to enjoy a hike in the Blue Mountains in a place that isn't as jam packed with peoples as the 3 Sisters.

We were fortunate to visit on a clear day. While there are several waterfalls in the area, each is unique and inspiring. The Blue Mountains offer many diverse geographical features. The waterfallas are on the top of beauty in this area. You can walk here if you are an adventurous traveler. Views from afar are spectacular.

We did the walk/loop from conservation hut to wentworth falls and it was spectacular. The walk can be difficult at times with the last half an hour being a sheer steep uphill slog; I definitely recommend proper footwear. The falls were beautiful and were a wonderful treat during the walk. There were plenty of people on the route but the... More

The big waterfall is spectacular, and usually very crowded. But this is just the beginning of what's on offer. There are a number of amazing walks in the area with stunning views and so many waterfalls. And they aren't crowded. Enjoy!

Unlucky enough to be in Katoomba on a rather wet and cloudy long weekend. Got a feel as to how impressive these might be although there was not a huge amount of water cascading down on our visit. Need to come back on a clear day!

The O Shape design allows cars getting in and out straight forward. You cannot miss it. Several tracks towards the falls, depending on how strenuous you allow yourself. A good place for sunset.

The shortish trek to view the Falls is well worth doing. However it is the access that the Falls provides to various walking tracks that provide spectacular breathtaking views of the Blue Mountains and the many waterfalls in the area. We primarily took the National Pass Walking Track which is quite challenging and can take several hours to a full... More

We wanted to see these falls, and went to visit them on a Sunday. There were so many cars that we had to park a few streets back and walk down. The park was very busy, and just felt like an extension of Sydney. People were playing music and speaking loudly, which for us detracted from the beauty of the... More

I've seen quite a lot of waterfalls, so for me this one too has nothing special. But the weather was good and the view surrounding was beautiful, so it was still worth to go.
