Breath taking views of the The Sisters. Lots of room for lots of visitors. This is a main spot for the tour buses, so it can get a bit busy.

This is place to go if you want explore the Canyon on your own. Skip the Scenic World and the cable rides and walk the trail that leads to the Three Sister base. There is no entrance fee and after the walk you have good options for food in the neighborhood.

This is a very well laid out lookout, it even has a tourist office and toilets within its confines. On a good day (and there are many) the views are magnificent . It is the start of a number of walking paths and is well worth a visit. The only drawback with the site is that at times it is... More

You can choose to walk to the lookout, take a cab or take the bus. Any way, the scenery is a feast for the eyes! An opportunity not to be missed.

If you can choose the day, pick a day with no low cloud. It gets foggy up here in the mountains, and many day trippers miss out on the view due to the fog. Its over a KM above sea level, and can be chilly up here. Cold in winter. However on a clear day, the views are stunning of... More

Echo Point Lookout is a great place to see the Blue Mountains as well as the the Three Sisters rock formations in the mountains. We took a 2 hour train ride from Sydney to get to the town of Katoomba. To get to the Echo Point you can walk about 2 miles through this town, or catch a local bus... More

Popped by Echo Point Lookout and I liked the fact that it wasn't as crowded. Worth a detour without a doubt
