The exhibition about the Blue Mountains is excellent, and somewhere I would like to regularly return. I didn't have time to hear all the audio stories and I'm certain they are all of interest. The slide shows are well done and the map on the floor is intriguing. The cafe is just right! Good, unpretentious food, well presented and reasonably... More

We didn't stop in the exhibits but we did browse the library and had an enjoyable cafe lunch out in the courtyard. For us it was worth the stop.

Please don't bypass this place. First start off by visiting the beautiful library. Than follow with a combined ticket to visit the interactive blue mountains display centre, followed by the art gallery. Don't forget to have something to eat and drink at the Cafe and take a walk to the viewing platform. Coles supermarket is below and free under cover... More

The cultural centre had gallery, library and café and it's looks new with stunning bright atmosphere. Café had good foods and coffee is very good. Library had Wi-Fi free in 2 hours only. Outside lookout at Katoomba village had great view. One thing is gallery is really superb standing. Worth to see!

I visited the gallery today - an excellent Works on Paper exhibition featuring many of Australia's best print makers, and the UNESCO Heritage exhibition. Both very good - and in the afternoon a small artisans' market in the gallery space was also quite good

This is an excellent facility in Katoomba, not only for the locals but for visitors to The Blue Mountains. We stumbled across the Centre while on a stroll through Katoomba and we were impressed by the well appointed establishment. There is a library, exhibition areas and a tasteful, well priced gift shop.

Locals should consider an annual membership I would suggest. Tourists should make their decision based on the exhibit(s) on show at the time. I have seen everything here from brilliant Whitely to peculiar installations that are difficult to describe (or recommend!) Stringly recommended, but the space is quite small and you should check out the nature of the specific exhibition.... More

We met a local friend at the onsite cafe, which was a pleasant experience. Plenty of drink choices and tasty food. The Centre houses the Katoomba Library, plus art exhibition spaces and a large quandrangle for markets and other events. Central in Katoomba, with parking in the Coles car park and lift access. Pedestrian access from a number of different... More

This new building is right beside the Carrington Hotel, and is such a contrast in building styles. We saw an art exhibition by NSW school atr students. Some wonderful artistic ideas from wonderful young people, well done. There is a nice shop in the centre also, with local products.
