Lovely but . . . .

We had a full day ride as part of a scoopon deal with two nights Accom in one of their lovely lodges (reviewed separately). We were really looking forward to this, we have our... read more

Hubby and I decided that a trip to the snowy' street wouldn't be complete without taking a horse ride.. Neither of us were experienced riders. We haven't been on a horse since our teens.. My hubby was nervous but he was prepared to give it a go because I am a country kid and love horses. He wasn't given any... More

It's such a shame I can't give a higher rating because the accommodation was gorgeous and was a very nice place to stay. My only complaint about the accommodation is the water which was so dirty I couldn't see my own feet in the bath! Apparently that is drinking water! We stayed here for two nights with a 'day' ride... We had a full day ride as part of a scoopon deal with two nights Accom in one of their lovely lodges (reviewed separately). We were really looking forward to this, we have our own horses but love riding when on holidays. We initially tired to upgrade our one day ride for a multi day ride but they were not... More

Justin and Delia were great hosts. The horses are lovely and very well looked after. Justin's camp cooking is amazing!! It was wonderful to see the brumbies running around and in such great condition. The rides each day were breathtaking, with some of the most beautiful views you could get. It was lovely to camp out in the huts. I... More

My partner and I had trekked for 3 days through Kosciusko National Park then stayed overnight at Snowy Wilderness' 1 bedroom High Country Lodge (reviewed earlier). After having a fantastic sleep we drove 100 meters up to the wool shed to get the formalities done. We stood by as the owners Delia and Justin set up our horses. There were... More

My 10yo daughter and I have just done the full day ride today. It was awesome. Justin was our ride leader there were 6 of us all up. The horses were in great condition. The ride was amazing, proper bush ride not just plodding down a trail. Can't wait to come back and do a 3 or 4 day ride.... More

We had to experience the Snowy with a hourse ride. We had a great time in wilderness farm, the bourses are very healthy and treated very well. The scenery is amazing and the owner is very nice. We got a young tour guide which was very informative and responsible .

Had been looking forward to this experience as it has been on my 'bucket list'. Music, my horse was everything I had always wanted to ride. He was half Brumby, a grey and very well mannered. My ride was fabulous. Steph did a great job even though she hasn't been in Aust for very long. It just wasn't the "Man... More

I am sorry you felt ignored by the owners, however, Delia, an owner, was looking after your husband, one on one, on a 4WD/Brumby viewing tour where he saw over 30 horses running wild & free, we also modified the full day horse ride you were on so your husband could meet the riders for lunch, & Delia was there... I have just returned from an absolutely fantastic 5 days of horse-riding with 'Snowy Wilderness' in the wild areas of the Snowy Mountains in south-east Australia. I chose this trip for its combination of bush camping, mountain scenery and horse-riding. It could not have been a better fit. Although I was almost a complete novice to horse-riding, I felt confident... More

We are part time Snowy residents. I'd booked on the internet well over a month in advance for a “full day of riding” that included a “gourmet lunch” and "gentle" welcome. We try a different horse riding place each year, and each so far has been excellent. Well, we would never return here nor recommend it. This is a shame,... More
