We took a helicopter for two to Whitehaven beach, spent a couple hours there with champagne and then took the helicopter over the heart reef, Whitsunday islands, etc. Absolutely stunning. Bucket list for sure.

Beautiful beach on an unspoilt Island but much like so many beaches on the Australian Coast. For me, not worth the 90 minute Ferry ride each way at $100 per person. A hire car along the coast would have been equally rewarding. It was beautiful...More

OMG this would have to be the whitest beach I have ever seen. It is like magic with the Turquoise water, the beautiful marine life. We even saw Whales, turtles, lots of tropical fish...beautiful all round and haven't got a bad word to say about...More

it can be done but you will have to plan your day well the ferry has a web site and all details of packages do the morning one I think it ends at 4pm plenty of providers in town who will organise pickup and drop off though... More
