Friends from USA staying with us wanted to see the crocs, cuddle a koala and go swimming on Great Barrier Reef. Well Hartleys covers two out of the three and it really is a terrific place to visit. We were only here in April but a second visit was just as good as the first. Love the boat ride and... More

Here we finally got to see Australia's animals that we were not able to see in the wild. Besides lots of crocs with a very informative guide, there are kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, and of course the adorable koalas. The staff are very friendly and, except for the crocs, of course, you can pet and play with all the animals. Loved... More

Thanks so much Messa. We're glad we were able to help you see all the animals you wanted. And you didn't want to play with our crocodiles? Very funny. More

Many animals to see and very informative and educational. It gets very hot, so it is best to book or drive there early morning or later in the afternoon. It is a place you can feed koalas, kangaroos and crocodiles..great for the whole family.

Thanks so much Aura. It is mid summer here in North Queensland now. Once it starts to rain it will cool off. This is just the 'build up'. Nothing a nice cold beer at the end of the day and a swim in the pool won't fix. Glad to see you felt we were great for the whole family. More

Though the crocs scare me like crazy they are amazing creatures. If you want a crock adventure this is a must see...so much better than having an encounter in the wild that's for sure.

This was by far the best wildlife park in the area. We had been out on the Daintree the day prior and didnt see one croc but in awe of the exhibits and the staff, their knowledge was great. To see the crocs in a normal environment was wonderful. We intended to stay for 2 hours and stayed on and... More

What a great complement Libby, very nice. To be fair to our colleagues who run the river cruises, it is mid summer so the crocs tend to be either in the water or building nests at the moment. Glad we enabled a natural environment for you. The crocs live in the swamp just across the road so you are certainly... More

We had a great experience at this location, which is basically a croc farm. The guide was detailed in explaining all the information about the crocs. This is a place to recommend to the ladies too, as the handbags they have are all made with their own skins and crafted by Japanese craftsmen, quality was very good!!

I wasn't sure how I'd like it here but I found it very interesting and enjoyed seeing the crocs in a "natural environment". Apparently your ticket let's you into the park for about 3 days from date of purchase, if I had known that I would have gone sooner and gone back again in another couple of days.

We're very pleased you found our park to be interesting. And 'yes' this is very much a natural environment for crocodiles. Hartley's Creek just up the road was notorious for crocodiles in the early days. Hope to see you again. More

Went to Harley's not expecting much due to going to another wildlife park in Port Douglas and being extremely disappointed, but not the case here. I did the croc farm tour, Matt was fantastic and very informative, shed some light on croc farming and its benefits for everyone. Then the family went on the lagoon boat ride, what a experience... Thanks so much Simon. With our recent upgrades, Hartley's is now the most modern wildlife attraction in the Cairns/Port Douglas area with even more planned for next year. Yes, Matt is on a roll at the moment, enjoyed his boat cruise myself recently. We'll be sure to let him know. And, summer has arrived all around Australia so by all... More
