This area is not touristy...there is a great walking path. Surf is good for beginners and body surfing area is fun. Definitely worth a day visit.

This beach truly represents picturesque Caribbean! We spent Christmas Day here and it was very quiet. This is not a tourist beach with people trying to sell you things. It is simply a beach! We took food and drinks for the day and enjoyed a beautiful day relaxing in this stunning location. A must visit with a picnic and plenty... More

Beautiful unspoiled beach, and worth the 15 minute drive from our hotel in Las Terrenas. We arrived late afternoon, and the beach was already mostly in shade. So if you like plenty of sun and you are visiting around Christmas, you might want to get here earlier than we did...

There is some resort hotels. Wherever you stay, you can swim this beach and walk beatiful sands. Very silence, smooth location at Las Terrenas.. Both hotels and restaurant pricies are also very convenient.

Awesome calm waters, beautiful at sunset, very secluded. Went with a group of friends, played in the sand ... while the kings played in the water

I was born in the beach in Rio and lived my whole life by the beach, but that playa bonita is the most incredible beach I've ever been. It's so peaceful and beautiful. It looks like it came out from a postcard.

This place really deserves it's name - and more! It's a long stretch with smooth sand, beautiful vegetation and good places for both swimming and surfing. Definitely worth a visit!
