Awesome calm waters ...

Awesome calm waters, beautiful at sunset, very secluded. Went with a group of friends, played in the sand ... while the kings played in the water

I was born in the beach in Rio and lived my whole life by the beach, but that playa bonita is the most incredible beach I've ever been. It's so peaceful and beautiful. It looks like it came out from a postcard.

This place really deserves it's name - and more! It's a long stretch with smooth sand, beautiful vegetation and good places for both swimming and surfing. Definitely worth a visit!

Maybe I am spoiled by Mexican and other Caribbean beaches. Playa Bonita is very pretty, but it didn't impressed me. You have very little space to walk at the beach and it is full of trunks, rocks and sometimes debris. The sand is mostly super thin, brown and the water is shallow and clear. You can swim safely if the... More

This is a beautiful beach (hence the name) and very relaxing. Even though the weather was not at the optimal, we could walk quite far in without any problems. This is a place to be frequented.

As its names states, this playa truly is bonita. You can walk the whole stretch of the beach and not have one vendor harass you. Although its littered with property and hotels the beach still feels like a virgin beach. No vendors sellling any of their goods on the beach. I suggest walking out to the east end near the... More

Gorgeous & quiet beach away from a lot of touristy places. Great food, hospitable local folk, and reasonably priced accommodations.
