If you miss being in Italy it is always a possibility to go to Nova Trento. The most interesting place is the church and the story behind it.

This Sanctuary was absolutely beautiful! If you are in the area, a must see! Be sure and take a camera and also walk around the town of Nova Trento, very charming.

some people might look at it as a religious trip meant only for people following a certain kind, but it really isn't so. the energy of the place is really rejuvenating enough for anyone, so is the surrounding location. not really usual tourist destination but an experience interesting enough not to be missed if one travels all the way to south america! :)

You can reach the place only by taxi or in pullmans. Some people say there are buses but you never see them, and some people say there are no buses. Go if you are religious: it´s a typical religious center, full of people, and surrounded by suvenirs shops and very noisy cheap restaurants. If you insist on going, you can go back to the center (5 km) by walking. It´s a nice region, and you can buy wine on you path. By the way, it´s better to have your meal in restaurantes far from the church.

Place of faith for Catholics. Impressive the number of believers from all over Brazil and even from outside the country, visiting this sanctuary.

Always blessed place. Very beautiful mass there in the basilica, which was packed. I recommend arriving early so you don't have to park so far away. It is possible to park the car up there.
