A great place to swim after a long hike over and across big boulders. Sandy beach as well as rocks, very rewarding. A must see place in Kakadu.

This is well worth the hike to get to. Start off early in the morning and you will probably be the first there. Great swimming and beautiful photo opportunities. 10/10 breathtaking

This is a drought year, Jim Jim Falls were dry, maybe a trickle of water still on the rock face. Expect a rough trail reaching the falls. Highlight for us was a cooperative Forest Kingfisher along the road.

We were there early (8.30am), so on the way going, it was still cool although the boulder scrambling I found reasonably difficult as my sense of balance isn't great. However, the beach at the top was a lovely surprise and swimming in the pools great!...More
