This place is beautiful. Well worth the drive. There is some really good rock art & walk way's. Spend at least an hour there.

It's an easy walk up to the rock art but some areas have rocky steps so wearing good walking shoes is advisable. Otherwise the walkways and man made steps are easy to walk on and in good conditon. Take bottled water with you as well....More

Rock art was interesting. Easy 2.5kl walk through the forest to the top to see a fabulous view of the valley. The rock formations were beautiful.

Go see lightning man and other fantastic rock art paintings. Atmospheric place, you can feel the age.

Beautiful scenery, rock paintings are terrific but disappearing fast, see them soon as it doesn't look like our Kakadu Park fees are going towards preserving them.

This was such a great experience. The artwork is in amazing condition given it's 1000 years old. We only went as far as the gallery which takes only a few minutes to get to and is an easy walk. Definitely worth the trip.

There is a lookout point on the road down to the Nourlangie rockface. I can't remember it's name but it is a short 300m steepish rock walk. When you look back to the Nourlangie rock, it is stunning! Highly recommended!

I had one day to see some of the rock paintings in Kakadu and chose OffRoad Dreaming as a small tour organizer to get me there: It was truly a wonderful choice as the guide was incredibly well informed about the history of Darwin and...More
