This would have been “the place” in its day but sadly it’s run down but yet you still pay the highest dollar to enter. We wouldn’t visit here again.

A wonderful family run business. Lots of animals, $1 to buy animal food. The highlight for our 2 1/2 yr old was the pony ride ($5). Also a great park for the kids to keep entertained, picnic tables and bbqs.

Took two little boys one afternoon. There is so much for kids: play ground with pirate ship, trampoline, climbing fun, swings and slides. A model cow which you can milk!! Horses and horse treks, llamas, goats and sheep the children can feed. Pigs, a Highland...More

Whenever our grandchildren come to Hawkes Bay from Auckland the first thing they ask to do is visit the Farmyard Zoo. They love running around looking at the animals and invariably finish the animal food in the first few minutes. The horse rides and train...More

It was such a cool thing to do with kids and it was even cooler getting to feed the animals and rode on the pony.

We passed here on the way to a winery and realised they did pony trecking. We booked the kids in for the one hour treck which was good value at $80 plus the girls got a discounted entry into the zoo to feed the animals....More
