Peričnik Falls is undeniably one of the most breathtaking waterfalls in Slovenia, well worth a visit. Just a short 5-10 minute drive from the charming town of Mojstrana, conveniently located near the Ljubljana highway. The parking fee is just a few Euros, and a quick 5-minute hike takes you to the first waterfall. It's an awe-inspiring sight, standing tall at about 50 meters, with the unique opportunity to walk behind and around it. Be prepared to get wet, but the experience is well worth it. Up the path lies another stunning waterfall, slightly smaller but equally beautiful. Exercise caution as paths can be slippery when wet, and some areas may lack protective fences, so be mindful of your safety.

I do not know why there are not more reviews for this waterfall. It is only a short walk and the waterfall is spectacular. And it keeps you cool on a hot day.

Nice place, easy to access. You can have hike around 4km from bottom parking place or even go under the waterfall and just hike few hundred meters towards the waterfall.

this is the Seljalandsfoss of Slovenia.

very different from Slap Kozjak, but as amazing an experience.

you need to come prepared with a plastic bag and cloth to protect your camera. it will get wet even though you are still at a safe distance from the fall.

Beautiful waterfall! From the main road, it was already a nice and semi-adventurous drive over gravel roads to get to the parking (big enough). There you have the opportunity for some feet bathing in the Triglavska Bistrica river. From the parking, it is a short (15-20 min) but quite challenging walk to the waterfall. You can choose two different paths, arriving left or right from the waterfall but you can also do the full circle as you can pass behind the waterfall which is a really nice experience. Be careful because this is a non-secured part of the walk and it can be slippery. From the left, you can also go a level higher - by following a wooden stairs - to see the upper level of the waterfall. Perfectly doable with kids.

The two Peričnik waterfalls are beautiful and worth seeing. You can go behind both of them. Be prepared to get a little wet, especially if you go close to them.

Nice round walk. There are two waterfalls. You can go behind the first one (firstly check the second one), water will refresh you.
