We found our way to our accommodation by dropping in here. There's a small café, it's got a good range of souvenirs, the air-conditioning is great and the toilets are very clean.

I took 2 x teenage kids for visit. It is very educational, some great hands on stuff and some very good videos to watch. I also learnt a lot about our outback history. Do yourself a favour and visit the centre.

My husband and I dropped in during a trip through Porr Augusta. We were greeted by a super friendly lady who explained everything to us. The displays are quite good and definitely educational. I found it very interesting. There are some interactive displays, and also a short movie in the cinema. The place looks like it needs a bit of... More

Thanks so much for your lovely review Sammi D. We appreciate your comments and will certainly let the girls (staff) know how much you appreciated the service they provided. So pleased you enjoyed and gained a better knowledge of the Flinders Ranges and Outback in our Tunnel of Time. Kind regards Pauline More

This centre covers a lot of areas revolving around outback life and is well worth the entrance fee. Take time to watch the videos and read all the wonderful information on display

Hi Wallyvincig. It is great to learn you really enjoyed your visit to our wonderful Centre, which was well worth the entry fees. A lot of visitors look at the outside of the building and think the Tunnel of Time experience will be limited, however we a proof you cannot judge a book by its cover. We also believe visitors... A really informative experience with great AV presentations. Plenty of interactive things for kids to do and pretty good value for money if you take the time to look at everything.

We spent a few hours at the Wadlata Outback Centre on our way through Port Augusta and it was great to see the displays of the rail-air history, mining and everything else that has and is happening in the area. Great set up, nice displays and really well presented. Pat on the back for everyone involved.

We were exited to visit Wadlata Outlook Centre. Arriving in the Tourist Office (where the center is) we had to pay! And not a small amount. It was 21 dollars a person!! Ridiculous! If a center like this is part of a tourist office. It should be free for everyone. Otherwise make it a commercial attraction. We were very disappointed.

Don't miss this. At the outset it may seem on the expensive side but once you get into the experience and you are still finding things of interest after 3 plus hours, it's good value. Geology, Aboriginal dreamtime, Exploration, Mining, Oil & Gas extraction, Rail history, Flying Doctor, many DVD's screening in various locations and much more. There is also... More

That is fantastic Vee N. So happy you enjoyed our award winning attraction while on holiday in our wonderful City and region. From the outside of the building the offerings within could be perceived to be limited, but once you enter the Tunnel of Time, it is like the Tardis it just keeps going and going. I hope you picked... More
