Nice parks, long trail from one end to the other. Down side is lots of bush land and undergrowth which is blocking the sea views. Needs thinning and clearing. Could be so much better.

We walked The Esplanade from Hervey Bay to Urangan, and walked out on The Pier, it is a 1.2km walk one way but well worth it. There is also a cute cafe/ice creamery at Urangan where we enjoyed a nice coffee. The next day we...More

This is a great safe walk on the edge of the water. This tropical feel is very coastal and walking the dog in the shade on a hot day is a bonus. Its very quiet even though the Esplanade can get a bit busy at...More

The Hervey Bay esplanade must be one of the most spread out and well planned esplanades in QLD. There are beautiful parks everywhere. The footpath is amazing and virtually shaded for kilometres. The parks, picnic areas, beaches and road is well worth a visit. Restaurants...More
