is a long way out of town then you need to travel back to the main road.
Not much there except a the 5 telescopes in a row.

This was an informative place to visit and had quite a bit to see and read about including the telescopes. Short movie was included. walking around outside we saw lots of wildlife, mainly kangaroos/ wallabies but most impressive, an echidna.
Excellent venue to visit. Very user friendly, cinema shows a very detailed informative doco which answers any questions you might have. Expect to spend up to an hour at this location. Very well maintained, lots of parking including space for the caranners.
Looking for something to surprise the kids with when travelling the Newell Highway in northwest NSW. Stopping at the Australian Telescope outside Narrabri is pretty cool for any space nerd!
