This heritage park has grown from a big house with a collection of hobby societies to a fully fledged heritage park and a preserved railway and now a kiwi house. Lots to do on a week end.
Friendly staff and very informative. One of the cheapest and best places to see kiwi! Flash the tuatara was my favorite.
A great place to visit and see kiwis and geckos. The staff were most helpful and spent a lot of time with us. This was helpful in understanding the kiwis. Well worth a visit.
It was possible to take a picture - without flash and with manual focus In the museum a feather-cloak was a highlight!
We were hoping to see little kiwis today, but they were very elusive. We only got to see them in their burrow via a camera. We did, however, see other animals and insects. We also saw the museum, which was informative
