We visited the falls. Awesome views and good walk to the bottom of the falls. U could feel the spray coming of the falls. Glad we did this before it got to hot and crowded

This most photographed waterfall in New Zealand is a bit of a disappointment in summer ...It must be great in the spring. There are notices which say it’s unsafe to swim under the falls due to pollution from birds ... so don’t ! People seem...More

Free car parking just a short walk away, a very interesting local guide and easily accessible. Said to be the most photographed waterfall in New Zealand, but I can't confirm that! A short walk around the falls, paved and good steps, takes about 20 minutes....More

This is so far the best waterfall I have seen. It is not the biggest or the grandest waterfall but the whole location was just amazing. A must see before heading south or east from Auckland. And it is not a long drive.

Easy to get to and a lovely chance to stretch the legs and have a short wander through to forest if you choose to go down to the bottom. Delightful spot in Whangarei.

Sorry, I don't know. Best to Google it, or ask the Whangarei I-site for info online. Good luck :)
