Brought my kids here today to show them this pretty waterfall I had come to as a teen. Great place for families, couples or even by yourself. You can feed the ducks, have a picnic as there’s lot of green grass to sit on, picnic...More

A lovely walk down the hill and back up again with opportunities for photos from lots of different angles. A really nice outdoor activity not far from the centre of town.

The falls are beautiful and not far from the city centre. If you are fit, take a walk down to the bridge below the falls for a good view.

We visit here a lot. The falls are always impressive. Whether you are just taking the kids to feed the ducks or exploring some of the great walks that take you through A.H. Reed park and onto the canopy walk. Always an awesome trip out.

I've been to Whangarei many times but never to the falls, they are a must see. such a dramatic landscape right in town. The falls are beautiful, but I was impressed by the view down into the valley of bush below which is very dramatic....More

You can walk along a circular 25-minute walkway to get nice views of this lovely waterfall. It is an enjoyable walk.

Gorgeous falls, beautiful after rain and in bright summer. Walk down the track to the base of the falls, wander along the river under native bush. Gorgeous spot for a walk or run. Breathe the tree breath and go home refreshed.

I wouldn't bother in the rain, but on a fine day it is a short walk to pretty viewpoints--a bit steep down and up. Or you can take a short walk to the overlook. A spectacular falls.

Great walk to view falls. Easy location to find and close to the main road. A nice place to have a picnic with the family.

Sorry, I don't know. Best to Google it, or ask the Whangarei I-site for info online. Good luck :)
