Went specifically for the dinosaurs exhibition (charge applies - but only $12 for adult). Had a good look around the rest of the museum, was very impressed.

the dinosaurs were fun for the kids for 12 dollars for an adult is a bit steep, the lady at the front desk was fantastic to deal with when talking about the old school house and cottage, the kids area is well put together as well

Te Manawa exhibits variety of programmes, events, painting which are worth watching and is mostly free.. Always ideal for any age group.. The exhibition on 50 greatest photographs by National Geographic Magazine was my personal best..
