    Well, lets be honest
The beach is alright. Its a very small beach. On a good day, this place is packed. The sun beds are in a row, side by side, lots of noice. Plenty of much nicer beaches around on other Islands. If you based on Maafushi, this is the place to be based, or maybe a slighty quiter guesthouse in on of the side Streets. Plenty of bars, restaurants etc to keep you fed and watered.

    Beautiful, but a bit overrated
Beautiful beach and water, many rocks at the beach so wearing sea shoes is a must. Good sport water activities. Bikini Beach is very commercial, locals were more enjoyable (since me and my wife are Muslim and adhere to their dress code)

    PERFECT
The bikini beach at the Arena Hotel & Spa is perfect. If you are not a hotel resident, rent a sun lounger and umbrella and pay in US dollars. Take your own towel. The hotel beach staff are very proficient and there is a bar and restaurant where you may eat. The beach is wonderful. The sea is sublime. We swam far out and snorkelled seeing many fish. There is a sandbank near to the beach where you can swim to and relax. There was NO noise/music from the Arena hotel and I fell asleep on the beach. Maafushi is only a 30 minute speedboat ride away from Male/MLE. Well worth a visit

We were in Maafushi in February and spent a relaxing day at Bikini Beach, the only place where bikinis and swimwear is allowed. The varied crowd of tourists was interesting and the climate was very good.

I could not access my TripAdvisor account for some reason, so just managed to get back into it today.

It was ok but I expected sand in the see, as there was on the beach. When you go in the water you have to be careful because there are some sharp rocks. And be careful not to be in the sun more than couple of minutes. The UV radiation was very high, 12 or 13, and got sun burns eventhough there was cloudy day and I used UV protection 90.

Beach is good. Sea for swimming not so good . Many stones and rocks on the sea floor. Very painful if you don't wear aqua shoes. Water at beach not so clear as on other islands. Can sometimes be quite 〰️ wavy.

It is a small beach controlled by two hotels kaani and arena but u can access it easily and use their umbrellas and chairs, the problem is the very loud music from arena restaurant that will not meet your expectation of going there to relax and enjoy the nature, and they will not listen to you even you give feedback, they do not respect people are having relaxing time, reading, taking a nap or just relaxing.. even i asked the giy on the restaurant to turn the speaker towards the restaurant side instead of beach side and he promised yes but did the opposite turned it more towards beach side.. you pay a lot everything in dollars and get very bad experience

Didn’t like it. I expected Maafushi to be less touristy but I guess that has changed. The beach itself is small and not that special. There were men just randomly walking around secretly making pictures of women (they would stop in front of a woman and take their phone as if they were calling/using it and then would walk to the next one). I told the chair guy but he didn’t care, only cares about the money. So be careful when you go there. I would much more recommend Thulusdhoo. Less tourists and so much prettier + nicer/bigger beach. Also the boat ticket was cheaper to Thulusdhoo.

Beautiful public beach located in the north of the island
The beach is very clean with beautiful white sand .you are only allowed to put on bikinis on the beach because of the Islamic rules .
