Lovely clean beach with beautiful views back onto Melbourne CBD and plenty of eateries and bars (a little expensive for a backpacker though) This was winter time so it wasn't busy which was nice, plus you can SUP and kitesurf for a reasonable price at...More

Lovely area to walk with kids in this beautiful park land. On Sunday, there is a small craft market which is not too overcrowded. The area is safe for children, the toilets are clean

We like walking on our sightseeing and the beach at St Kilda is a nice spot to do it. The boardwalk is good and there are bike trails.

We got the train from Brighton Beach back to St Kilda. As we'd come from Highett, we got a bus from the Southland Shopping Mall to St Kilda and once there (and after a nice lunch) we then travelled from St Kilda to Brighton... More
