Woodsies Gem Shop is a family owned and operated business 10 mins from Mildura. Its showroom boasts timeless jewellery, exquisite gemstones, beautiful carvings, gifts and much more. You'll be blown away by the Cave-Inn restaurant and dining area, and enticed by the local staff at the Little Gem Cafe.

Family attractions include Aladdin's Cave - a walk-through display of gemstones sourced internationally in the Woods' family private collection. ($2 adults, $1 children)

There is the Garden Crazy Maze - a maze that covers nearly a hectare of dead-ends and arguments. Try your luck to beat the 1min 39sec record set by a local student. Allow approximately 30-45 minutes! ($2 adults, $1 children)

We went with our 2 kids, 7 and 5 years old. The maze was hard for us but a lot of fun. You could "get out" if you needed to but the kids really got into it and eventually found the way out (the oldest kid actually didn't like the idea of the "give up" gate). Overall, it took about... More

We spent an hour plus here, watching the most entertaining and informative gem cutting and jewelry making demonstration (free) and looking at the jewelry and gem/stone related items on sale. Beautiful items for everyone and inexpensive gifts including some novelty items for children. The Gem Shop is HUGE and you are free to wander with friendly help offered if you... More

Worth the trip to have a look. If you love gems or stones you will love this place. Very informative. Plenty of things to buy as souvenirs. Also a cafe to refuel.

Lots of cut and polished gems: opals, sapphires, emeralds, garnets and semi precious (no diamonds) set in rings, necklaces and earrings. Also some fossils. Reasonable prices. Very interesting and humorous workshop demonstration. Only 5 mins drive from Mildura. There is a cave display ($2 entry) - we did not go. And a cafe - I believe this is a separate... More

We went to Woodsies as our son loves gem stones. The shop is fantastic and we were served by a lovely lady who took the time to explain all about rubies to our 8.5yo who loves them. During this time our youngest headed out the back with his dad to play on the playground. We ordered lunch at the cafe... More

Went to Woodsies on my own just for a visit, so I only visited the gem shop itself, didn't go in the cave or maze. One of the shop owners was near the desks where they cut and prepare the gems - he was quite a character, enjoyable to chat to. Family-owned from what I heard, seems like some healthy... More
