We took a morning cruise on this historic paddle boat which we thoroughly enjoyed. It's a unique experience to ply the waters of the Mighty Murray, as our pioneers did. Steam driven, wood powered, this vessel keeps true to it's unique past as a necessary part of the early transportation of this old river port. It went for an hour... More

We walked down to the Echuca wharf to ride a Paddle Steamer. The one we initially chose advertised their charter and said bookings available on board, this was not the case, so in lieu of that, we then chose the PS Pevensey over the other one as Pevensey's friendly staff offered advice, courtesy and a "no fuss" adventure. It was... More

I went on this cruise with my elderly parents. The cruise itself was very good, very informative with narrative as you cruised down the Murray. The boat was set up so you could imagine how people live on this vessel in years past. And there were plenty of places to just sit and watch as you cruised up and down... More

We have been coming to Echuca many years and have been on many a paddle steamer rides but I really enjoyed this one as it's actually a paddle steamer, some of the others are diesel powered. The steam engine is in full view and you can watch the guys at work, sit up front on the " wool bails" and... More

Riverboats were the main way of transportation back in the late 1880. The train bridge then became a large way of taking supplies to and from Melbourne, Ballarat and Bendigo.

Ever since I watched 'all the rivers run' as a child always wanted to visit the area. Was pleased to learn that the original boat is still in operation. Really enjoyed the experience so much that we went back this year and will be back again. Love it that they let dogs on the board.

We had a stopover in Echuca during our Australian trip, but we did not plan to book PS Pevensey experience in advance. Upon our walkthrough by the port, we have spotted this beautiful steamboat and have booked a trip on it. Truly madical "All the rivers run" experience, our ladies have especially liked it and have enjoyed every single moment... More

We went on the PS Pevensey as out mode of transport to & from Morrisons Winery for lunch, ( didn't have to worry about driving). Good access and plenty of room on board, plenty to see with Captains' commentary along the way & bar on board for those who felt the need.
