When the lake has enough water, this is a beautiful place for motorsport and often is full of boats, jet skis and fishermen. A great place to visit and take in the scenery.

We stopped our road trip for a cuppa by lake Burrumbeet. It was worth it as the lake and surrounds is a lovely view. It is very peaceful. The nearby walking area did have some litter around which was unpleasant but the beautiful gumtrees of...More

Lake Burrumbeet has always been a popular place for locals and travellers alike. It is a large lake great for waters sports and fishing. Unfortunately over the years the water levels can drop rapidly so it's best to check before taking out a watercraft

Lake burrumbeet caravan park. Well firstly, far too many permanent cabins. Grounds not very well managed. Amenities not very clean. Too much building work going on, so needless to say very noisy. Out of date stock in the shop and lastly staff very unfriendly.

Suited to fishers, skiers and dingy enthusiasts when the water levels are high. Long grass and snake haven at the lookout. Maybe better for those who are at the caravan park.
