A very nice building with some great artwork. However it is rather graphic so be careful with young children

If you have been to the Sistine Chapel in Rome you will realise how fortunate we are to have these beautiful paintings in a country church in Australia, well worth a visit.

This building has one of the most beautiful interiors you will find in Bairnsdale. A the moment the exterior is covered in scaffolding as it undergoes renovations, and the interior work is to follow. Let's hope that the peacefulness and tranquility of the church is not lost once all the renovations are completed

What a great little surprise. I was told about the church by someone in Batemans Bay when traveling through. Glad we took his advice no visited. The Paintings are amazing and the story behind them interesting. It's probably not a place to spend hours, but for a quick look you won't be disappointed.

I visited this very unusual Catholic church last year and was impressed with the plethora of painted images covering the ceiling and part of the walls. My choir came back on October 2 this year to present a concert to a capacity audience. Not only is it an amazing visual feat but the acoustics were marvellous.

What an amazing testament to past commitment. The ceiling is painstakingly painted with all sorts of religious scenes.Certainly standing as increasingly tired memory of a past era.
