Experience the excitement and history of Launceston's spectacular Tamar River from the comfort of our unique vessels. An informative commentary from our skippers will take you on a historical journey where you will discover the stories and tales that shaped Launceston and the Tamar Valley. Travel in to the heart of the Tamar and view the navigable section of the spectacular Cataract Gorge. Sample the delights of our local wines and cheeses as you view breathtaking scenery, world class vineyards, historical buildings, rural settings and frequent encounters of fascinating wild life including sea eagles, wild duck, black swans, pelicans, plus many other varieties of water-fowl and occasionally playful seals. One of our passenger recently commented it is like a moving postcard. It is certainly a 'must do' when visiting Launceston!

Fabulous! We chose the four hour lunch cruise. Everything about the trip was wonderful. The boat was modern, well designed and not too crowded. The copious food and drinks for morning coffee, lunch, and the wine and beer tasting were very high quality. The scenery...More

Firstly, Both options are amazing. Both have their own +ve and -ve. Tamar River Cruise to me is more for people who just want to sit and enjoy the cool breeze on a big boat cruising through the river with couple of drinks to enjoy...More

Before we went to Tasmania we had been told about this river cruise and it came recommended. It's very easy to find in Launceston and is worth the money. The cruise is very relaxing and the guide tells you history of Launceston which includes the...More

Whilst there were a range of cruise options, the 50 minutes cruise ran regularly and suited us time wise. There were cafes nearby for the short period of time we had to wait for our trip. Admittedly the weather was splendid but the boat was...More

A 2 to 2.5 hour cruise up the Tamar River. Entertaining and informative commentary. Stunning views of the river and surrounds. A short trip up the Cataract Gorge that was interesting. Fruit and muffins provided and local beer and wine available for purchase.
