Good food and friendly stall holders
Jun 2021
We picked up some food and juice before heading to the cataract gorge, all the market stalls we went to were friendly and the food was very good. While we were there we got breakfast and a coffee/hot chocolate and it was very nice.

Great find!
Jun 2021
I was delighted to be told about the market and keen to have brekkie there - chai & sourdough cinnamon roll, yum!
Market opens at 8.30am and I was there soon after. There are a variety of stalls selling fish, vegetables, pastries, gins to mushrooms. Produce looked fresh & I bought some native spice mixtures.
A market visit makes visit to Tassie complete. Fabulous experience.

Compact local market
Jun 2021
There are several interesting stalls in this compact market. The prices are on the high side but people were buying. We were not hungry so didn’t buy but breakfast items looked good.

A great place to get amazing local produce
Dec 2020
A great market with wonderful local produce. The market is medium-sized, and you could go over all the stores in an hour or so. A nice place to get some fresh fruits and veges, and breakfast as well:)

Truly lovely jams, chutneys, pickles and sauces.
Sep 2020
We were in a bit of a rush because we had all (the 8 of us) been to the Gorge for the morning and just managed to call into the Farmers Market in time to buy a few jars from the 'Taste of Tam O'Shanter' stall before the market closed promptly at 12 midday.
We bought some jam, tomato chutney and some pickled cucumbers. We have tried them all and they are delicious.
I would be happy and confident to recommend this produce to everyone.

What a gorgeously cute market to pick up artisanal foods and grab an amazing bite to eat. Fresh fruit n veg, all manner of meats n cheeses, craft brewers, oils, teas, seafood. All in one easily accessible area.

Bountiful Harvest Market
Feb 2020
Wow! What a wonderful experience to peruse the produce at the Harvest Market in Launceston on a Saturday morning.
Not too big, not too small, this market gave visitors and taste of what northern Tasmania has to offer in fresh and unique fruit and veg as well as a range of artisan products like no other. Make sure to take a string bag and load up. Made me wish I could shop there every week! Lucky Laucestrians :-)
