Thanks to all at Adelaide Scuba for your help in passing my OW course, especially Belinda my instructor. So much patience when things didn't go to plan first and second time (not your fault, mine) but got there in the end (thanks to Rob's power of persuasion not to give up). All staff are an asset to the business, highly professional and very knowledgeable, definitely recommend them for all your diving needs, whether it is for a diving course or shopping. I'll be back soon.

It was far from the perfect scuba diving day, but the team at Adelaide Scuba did a great job in ensuring everyone was safe and had a fun day on two dive spots just of the coast of Glenelg. Most onboard, including us, were fairly inexperienced divers and despite the challenging, choppy conditions we felt well looked after under the supervision of dive master Steve. We hired all the gear (except mask and snorkel which you need to provide, which was in great condition. A fun day and the croissants were great too!

The only dive shop I will ever go with, Staff is constantly friendly, filled with experience and knowledge. Dives are always well planned and safe, equipment is top quality. Their diving courses are the best in Adelaide!

Can't recommend Adelaide Scuba higher. Faz and Rob were nothing less than excellent on the recent Advanced open water and nitrox course. Look forward to the next dive and the next course.

One of the worst dive shops I have ever dealt with! The owner Josh is rude and unhelpful, their communication is abysmal and then they try and make it your fault as the client. Definitely do not use them if you are planning on diving in Adelaide.

Did two dives at the rapid bay jetties and saw sea dragons, squids, a stingray and a lot of different fish (also schools).
Staff was friendly, courteous and did a good job during the dives.

Just got back into diving and these guys were fantastic. I started out with a refresher course which they could do on the day in store in their heated pool. The instructor Mark was extremely patient and waited for me to build my confidence back up. Then I walked straight out the back into their dive boat! I was so happy with the staff and instructors i kept coming back I've now done my AOW and Rescue with these guys and can't express my gratitude for the instructors. Very good team! Shop staff were very knowledgeable and interesting highly recommended for the new diver and even the experienced diver!

I've been diving with Adelaide Scuba throughout my whole dive career, and there are some good and bad points regarding service and customer satisfaction.

Good: The shop is well maintained, Josh the owner seems to take pride in the appearance of the shop on the inside, he has a great display of gear and to be perfectly honest, the price of a dive (with all your own gear minus a tank and led) is very reasonable, so is the price of most dive gear on display.

In regards to instructors and the courses they offer, they are all (and only) PADI. Their choice of instructors is broad and you are able to pick and choose who makes you feel most comfortable. One of the highlights about the shop is definitely Chris and John, they are both really great people and are very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area.

Most of the staff know a lot about the gear they are selling and know the right things to say. Boat captain is a great guy and easy to get along with. All the hire gear that they provide you with is well maintained and easy to navigate around, there is always someone to help you out when you can't remember how to tighten the strap on your BC.

Bad: Be careful what instructor you choose to go with and do research about the products you are purchasing before going out and buying them. The Seahorse which I believe is their main boat is dated and could use an upgrade in regards to storage for scuba gear. Not always diligent with answering phones, but understood because they are seemingly always doing something.

I have completed my OW, AOW and soon my RES with Adelaide Scuba, although I may do my DM with them, I will certainly be exploring further options.

Though the shop is large, well laid out with a large selection of items for sale, that I can not deny. My problem with Adelaide Scuba was with their communication, I had contacted them months before my arrival in Adelaide, only wanting to dive, they did not reply. So on arrival in Adelaide I phoned them to book a package dive. Having to chase the phone call up later that day I booked a one day, 2 dive boat trip. It's not till I arrived at the store, on dive day to find the dive boat was cancelled due to weather conditions, I fully understand for safety why it was cancelled, this is not my gripe. It's the fact they having my phone number and email address did not communicate this information to me. There were two other men waiting to dive on my arrival at the store also let down without any communication. Then, when I complained about not being told the day before when the boat trip was cancelled. They said I was aggressive and told me get out of their shop. Personally I think the attitude of the staff members who's names I dealt with are Josh and Joel stink. I can not recommend this dive center though I sill expect diving in Adelaide to be some of the best diving in the world. JB. 4/1/2016

As I have travelled extensively throughout the world and dived in many countries I can easily say that the facility that Adelaide SCUBA have at this location is one of the best I have seen so far. For all of your recreational, technical, and professional level diving requirements I suggest that you check this facility out. The venue is well appointed and set up to be very sport specific. Staff were very helpful and professional. Equipment was extensive and well maintained. Pricing was very reasonable. Highly recommended.
