Toowoomba's Japanese Garden is a credit to its designers and caretakers. Its colour, space and design are inspiring.

If you want to go somewhere for a peaceful walk this is the place to go. It would be good if there was a Japanese Tea House to complement the site.

The Japanese Garden was suggested to be well worth a visit by the Altitude Motel in Toowoomba. The gardens are remarkable; whether to sit and contemplate or to walk the well placed tracks, they are breath-taking. Admission is by a coin donation at the entrances.

We were unprepared for the size and beauty of these gardens, which are serene and most certainly calming. Walk are clearly marked and ideal for our group of Seniors. There are so many parks and gardens to visit in Toowoomba, but I recommend you include the Japanese Gardens.

Introduce yourself to waterfalls and bridges, bamboo and shrubs and stroll around or just pick a quiet seat and find your inner peace. A fantastic visit to a Japanese meditation garden.

Well worth a visit. Shadey on a hot day. Many different vistas to explore and some local wildlife on the water.
