We had a ball feeding the fish, ducks and eels. Was a lovely shady place and plenty of room for the kids to run around. Would love to have a wedding here as well very beautiful.

Visited on a beautiful Sunday mid afternoon. Stepping thru the gateway one is transformed into a peaceful setting. Bridges, man made lake, water birds and a scattering of people having picnics or just enjoying the serenity. Plenty of bench seats and grassed areas.suitable for wheelchairs....More

The gardens are lovely and tranquil and the pathways are very well maintained. This is a great place to wander around and appreciate nature. We come here every time we visit Toowoomba.

A lovely spot to wander, sit, or have a picnic. As my dad was very taken by Japan and it’s architecture, I took this time to connect with him and appreciate what he saw in their country’s beauty and simplicity, their landscaping and affinity with...More

Toowoomba's Japanese Gardens are always a delight to visit. We live 2 hours away and find this a great stop for a break on our way into Toowoomba. It is such a tranquil venue. A recommended place to visit when in "The Garden City"

Simply a beautiful quiet sanctuary. Take Away lunch or coffee and cake on a cold Toowoomba day, excellent! No café here which I endorse. Seldom a crowd. No entry fee, though small donations encouraged. Always well maintained. Some interesting exotic trees to discover. Dogs on...More

There is no entrance fee for the Japanese garden. There is a donation box but I honestly haven't seen anyone put anything in it for years. Well worth a look.
