What a great family spot swimming water slide and BBQ areas. Life guards on duty close to the shopping centre. Also a lovely walk along the pioneer river

We went with our 5yo twins and they had a ball! They swam in the pool and also played in the playground. All free of charge, very clean pool and facilities. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to cool down and relax by the river.

Great to play under the bucket and point and shooter water canons. Also handy for a deeper dip and the waterfall offers a refreshing natural wonder

Good place to go when its too hot to do anything else. Enough shade to keep out of the sun and then cool off in the water.

Great spot to cool down in Mackay. Took our 15 month old son to the waterpark every day we were in Mackay. He had a great time around the big bucket, slides, sprayers etc. Great shallow areas on the splash pans, good grass to set up your picnic blankets. Cafes nearby. Best of all it's completely free.

This facility is magnificent. There is a smaller water playground area for the younger ones which the children just run themselves to near exhaustion as its so entertaining for them. Then there is the lower pool which has a big slide into it. Then there is an upper pool which is a gr8 pool for the bigger kids. The amenities... More

The best place for kids to cool off year round for free. Slides and water features for the kids. If the kids are old enough to be left alone the parents can go have a nice lunch at one of the few cafes nearby.

Lovely place to have a rest in your way through Queensland, Australia and it's free of charge. Very clean. The only disappointment is the cafe - their food is fairly expensive and service very very slow. Better off taking your own lunch/snacks - the place has free public BBQ to cook your own meal and toilet with showers.
