A memorial to the many ships that have sunk around the coast of Australia, particularly during war time. Quite nice views as well.

After seeing humpbacks up close with Whales in Paradise we wanted to go and look for them ourselves from a coastal lookout point. After a little online research we decided to try Point Danger in Coolangatta/Tweed. The setting is beautiful and we immediately spotted whales...More

I found myself here multiple time in the lead up to the Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast spending my lunch breaks here. Beautiful warm sunny days, enjoying the view and watching the waves roll in.

Love mucking around at the monument, crossing the border between NSW & QLD in one step. Great view of the ocean, north to the QLD skyline & south to NSW. Then down to Messina for sorbet - great afternoon!

Tweed Heads views as well as views of NSW/QLD border are absolutely stunning, as are the views of the ocean and Gold Coast. Strongly recommended, especially to go there and commemorate the war heroes on Anzac Day.
