The beach is sheltered and suitable for the kids. The food at the surf club is great value and view over the beach is great.

Lovely beach that can get a little crowded with surf board riders in the holiday season but worth a visit!

I kept being surprised as to how clean & well maintained the coastline of southern Qld is. Kirra Beach is no exception with a well used walkway along the entire coast line with plenty of grassed areas, sitting & even bbq's. This is a popular...More

This is a nice relaxing place to visit while on the Gold Coast. The walkways are well maintained right along to Coolangatta beach.

There's parking, food and shops close to this lovely wide beach. It's easy to access this beach via several walk ways. Showers and water bubblers are available, there's also a toilet block.

Patrolled excellent surfing beach (depending on tides & weather). Broad white sand with adjacent restaurants and shops.

Great location away from the bustle of Surfers or Broadbeach. Quiet location, but offers nice restaurants, 2 local Surf Clubs, a great beach, Twin Towns for entertainment, and a couple of golf courses.

Keep away from the north glitter areas of the Gold Coast and head to the Kirra Beach precinct. The beach is perfect, great surf and away from the overcrowded northern beaches. Kirra is a must see and explore.

Easy to park, beautiful beach which is protected from the cold southerly wind. There a couple of cafes just over the road.

If you are not heading to Kirra anytime soon, try and find the surf cam for the area or google street view on your search engine. This might give you an idea of what's on offer in the area. From memory, the Kirra lookout... More
