We wanted to see this and obtained entry through the three attraction pass entry. We were not disappointed it displayed the history of the sugar cane industry. Absolutely worth the visit. The staff were friendly and polite, sampling the raw sugar juice was a delight.More

What a special house to visit to appreciate our early pioneers in the sugar industry in Australia. So much hard work long ago by Italian migrants who gave so much to this country. Must see!

Take the opportunity to visit Fairymead House but be early as only open 1030-1200. Cedar tongue and groove planks grace this grand old lady of Queensland history. Admire lead light windows and the collection of memorabilia related to the families and the sugar cane industry.
