What a special house to visit to appreciate our early pioneers in the sugar industry in Australia. So much hard work long ago by Italian migrants who gave so much to this country. Must see!

Lots of history to read about at the Sugar Museum. Learn about the early owners of this historic house. Take your time and do hot rush.

Take the opportunity to visit Fairymead House but be early as only open 1030-1200. Cedar tongue and groove planks grace this grand old lady of Queensland history. Admire lead light windows and the collection of memorabilia related to the families and the sugar cane industry.
