Wrong season for the turtles when we visited so only saw the beach and surrounds. Nice and clean and lots of lovely pebbles and big rocks on the beach.

It was an eye opener to learn abt the immediate threats faced by turtles and great work undertaken by the team to conserve the loggerhead turtles to lay eggs, nest and come back to their home. If you can make it to the night tour...More

I visited twice this season - once to see nesting turtles and once for hatchlings. Both experiences were wonderful and really impressed the children who were with me. The rangers were informative and friendly, they answered questions and kept everybody interested and involved. The information...More

We went at the end of the turtle season in March to watch the hatchlings. We arrived just before 7pm and it seemed that they had pre organised everyone into groups. Our group was called on pretty quickly but depending on the hatchlings, be prepared...More

We booked the very last tour and were so happy we did. We were lucky to see the turtles almost right away so very little waiting. The Park Rangers did an excellent job looking after 50 or so people in our group and protecting the...More

AWESOME! Be prepared for a long wait if you didn't book early but it's worth it. Book ahead as early as possible. The work Mon Repos dose is amazing and because of this we are able to witness something beautiful. Well done guys!

Incredibly well organised viewing of the last of the baby turtles for 2018 season. Excellent guides with easy explanations and walk onto beach - simply must do!

I believe in giving very honest, factual reviews: Bundaberg is tiny. Mon Repos has a wall with turtle facts you can get online on the trip there. However, since there were so many rude tourists pushing an shoving to see the... More

We had booked about a month in advance for hatching season and were very well rewarded. The night time viewing does have limited numbers.

They start on 7 and if you are not there in time if you are the first group you may be missed, when I was there people were arriving later on etc, but I would try and be there as close to 7 as possible.
