If you want good old fashion friendly people come to Bundaberg. It is what Queensland use to be like before the southerners moved to the Gold Coast, Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast with their rude attitudes. It is a real pleasure to be among friendly, well mannered, polite people. Take a walk through Bundy and Bargara most people say hello... More

Parking is a big problem, traffic flow is slow because of the location of the pedestrian crossings. Quite a few vacant shops, however if you do manage to get a park its well worth having a look at the diverse range of shops, there's something for everyone.

WOW. I have to hand it to Bundaberg to be the most slack, boring town in Queensland. It may seem like a great holiday because it advertises so many things to do, example: Bundaberg rum/ brewery: BORING! Beaches: COVERED IN ROCK! Shops: EITHER JUNK OR THE SAME SHOPS YOU ALREADY HAVE! Trust me (reader) go some where like Noosa or... More

Walking the streets of Bundaberg leads you into many cafes, eateries and restraurants. There are plenty of shops to spend your money at and the CBD is only one street back from the Burnett River where a river cruise is available. Just out of town is the Bundaberg Rum Distillery and the Bundaberg Gingerbeer Factory where both have informed guided... More

A huge range of restaurants, cafes, bars and pubs. A strip full of accomodation, you won't get bored... More

Bundy is a clean small country town, I especially enjoyed the Bundy Rum Factory, this had a nice smell to it. The people like most country towns are very friendly and welcoming. I recommend you stop in at the rum factory and the visitors centre.

Many many years since in Bundaberg, we were pleasantly surprised by the lovely drive up from Maryborough. Some lovely shops in the CBD had breakfast at Indulge, world class food
