We had a great time here with lovely gardens full of birds, especially round the lakes. Also more water dragons than we have seen elsewhere.

This botanic Gardens has lots of plants and trees and large bodies of water. That looks enticing! However, people come here to visit Eastern Water dragons. They are lizards and they are everywhere, even sometimes in the water. Many people come here to see the...More

Filled in a wet afternoon here with teenage children. Teen found lots of Instagram worthy shots. Nice area to walk around. Ran out of time to visit the museums on site. Would return another day if had more time.

Lovely gardens if the weather is decent. Loads of birds and freshwater turtles that beg for food. Lots of fun.

We came for the Train ride (only on Sundays) and were happy we also did the Aviation Museum. The Gardens are very pretty and the train ride through them was fun. The train itself is classic. Very friendly staff too.

Sunday a great day to travel on the Sugar Cane Train around the gardens. Thanks to great volunteers we can appreciate another era in time. Chinese and Japanese gardens especially enjoyable area to wander.

It's beautiful especially the newly completed Japanese gardens, the restaurant there is also a welcome place to sit and relax. Great ice coffee, have checked out the menu and looks to be well priced, lovely out look.

The gardens are wheelchair friendly. I think the train only runs on Sundays and some other days during the school holidays. It was not running the day we were there.
