It is well equipped with safety gear to make you feel part of the industry and hearing devices so that you can hear what the... More

We visited this yesterday and found a great informative tour. It was well organised. Definately worth the money unfortunately no photos could be taken inside but thats understandable because of safety regs. Brings back memories as my father used to work their.

Great tour that was cheap enough at $20 each. Very big on safety but you can see why when you enter the factory. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff.

We had an awesome trip. The tour guide was interesting, the site was much cleaner than I expected and the steel works was fascinating. Our teenage/young adult sons got a lot from this tour.

We had a great time and had plenty to talk about afterwards. My son was amazed & very interested. The molten steel is mesmerizing. This is a must see to get a sense of the industrial history of Port Kembla.

My husband and I enjoyed the tour with a metallurgist as tour guide. The heavy industry is very different from what we have seen before and it was interesting hearing how the steelworks has responded to environmental concerns and changed practices with recycling steel, water etc. Seeing the red hot slabs of steel being cut with laser impressed me. You... More

Went on a tour here nearly 40 years ago which was very good and now wanted to show my family. We booked ahead for the Friday morning tour of 'Australia's Industry World'. The visitor centre was old but informative. The bus tour did not seem to visit all of the expected features and much of the site was not operating... More
