We had previously cycled around a section of the boardwalk. There is good signage now along the boardwalk, so you know where you are and roughly how much further you need to go. It is a great place to visit and explore, not too far...More

Well maintained boardwalks and tarmac paths. Lots of trees but little bird life on the two visits we made. Strong recommendation, take some mozzie repellent, they are quite ferocious.

Great place for a quiet off the beaten track walk or jog. Beware of spider webs and slippery surfaces on raised wooden walkways in the early mornings or after a shower of rain. Most of the walkways are covered with chicken wire so minimal slip...More

It is a number of years since we did this walk, and it was pleasing to see that the paths and boardwalks have been improved. It is an easy walk, mostly shaded, though conditions can be rather humid if it is a warm day. The...More

My wife & friends from Laurieton visited this park yesterday what a surprise so close to the CBD, its worth a relaxing walk thru the bushland with plenty birdlife, no doubt other interesting animals in the beautiful bush paths sealed, concrete or gravel throughout with...More

Wandered along the board walk looking for wildlife with our children. Saw several bearded dragons and at one end there is a decent sized colony of noisy flying foxes roosting in the gum trees. I was glad I was with my husband as felt intimidated...More

Nice walk through the forest and mangroves. Very peaceful. Easy boardwalk and paths to walk on. Recommend it for a nice walk for all ages. Can hear bats and birds.

Not a great deal to see if you are the average person. Has good walkways and is good for a walk on a hot day due to the shading from the trees.
