We enjoyed the look around the hydroponic setup but arrived a week or so before the sun could ripen the winter strawberries. Bought home some strawberry jam instead.

Sad that after 15 years of living on the coast we finally get to Ricardoes - despite missing the turnoff as there was no sign - only to arrive to find out the tomato tours are only on in the week. Could only look through...More

We struck a day that didn't have a lot of strawberries that were ripe. But what we did pick was ripe the next day and very sweet. The free tour at 11:00 was worth it and compensates for the high priced scones that we still...More

No strawberries at the moment & the kids were a little disappointed however, that’s nature for you! Lovely selection of home grown goodies & beautiful food to enjoy at the cafe.

We went strawberry picking and the fruits were delicious. Possibly a bit pricy, but the stuff is very friendly. Also interesting to stroll around their shop.

We've made several trips to Ricardoes when visiting Port Macquarie and we've enjoyed each one. This last time we must have caught the strawberries at their peak as there were heaps of luscious berries to be cut from the vines. The design of the buildings...More

Only just got this question. Sorry, the picking takes as long as you want it to. You are given a lined bucket and a pair of scissors to cut strawberries, so can take as many or as few as you like. There are always lots of... More
