Sea Acres Rainforest Centre is a great resource for Port Macquarie. The combination of gift shop and National Park information, great café and boardwalk make for a relaxing or more energetic experience depending on your preferences. We opted to take a self-guided tour along the...More

There was a small earthquake, but we didn’t feel it because we were driving. Anyway we entered at the Sea Acres Nature Reserve. It was built in 1989 and it is 1.3 kms long. It was solidly built. We were high above the ground. We...More

We dropped by to take in some local ambience. It was great. The shop has some nice items. And we had coffees and nibbles in their cafe — very nice.

An easy peaceful walk above the ground in the rainforest. Beautiful ferns, vines and trees. We needed a wheelchair and they had one to borrow. The wooden boardwalk not too steep and easy to manoeuvre the wheelchair.

Scarce on animals but beautiful trees with lots of information about them. We did see a swamp wallaby and some turkeys. Loved the fig trees and there root structures.

Well done with the elevated board walk through an ever changing rain forest with great educational prompts along the way. The different post with stories about the surroundings got my daughters intrigued. Just to remind us that it rains in a rain forest, it rained...More

The boardwalk was unbelievable, it was flat, clean, well maintained. The views were great, it was surprising to see how the rainforest changes so much in such a small area. Couldn't believe that we were less than 200metres away from the road. Could have spent...More

Nice place to visit with the family and get back to nature. The boardwalk was really nice and relaxing but somewhat overpriced given there is nothing else to do other than a gift shop and on site cafe.

We had a lovely morning in the rain forest, was raining which made it more beautiful. Only negative was it is a bit pricey, $9 each and $5 for kids for a half hour walk. The path is very well maintained and signposted. The staff...More

We've been the first time there and it was a great experience. The rainforest walk is great and the lunch in the restaurant is surprisingly good and reasonably priced

The entrance fee is $8 per adult which includes a guided tour. No need to book the guide in advance, just request one when you arrive, you might have to wait a few minutes but there is a gift shop to browse while waiting.
