Called here for a break from tasting wine. You can pay for a tasting of some of the cheeses on offer here. Some really nice local produce as well as a wide selection of imported cheese. Have a look at the cold room. They also have a great selection of deli items, crackers, condiments, gelato and coffee. Easy to spend,... More

Go to the smelly cold room enjoy choosing your own favourite cheese and enjoy it out on the lawn. They sell gelato too if it's a hot day. Food restaurants next door and cellar doors too. Ample parking for cars and buses. Slightly more commercial experience in the hunter valley yet still enjoyable.

The Hunter Valley is well known for its wine so the next best thing to add with wine is good cheese. The Smelly Cheese Shop certainly has all of that plus hundreds of other options to go with a nice wine and beautiful cheeses. You will not leave this stop empty handed as the choice's are endless.

Smelly Cheese is an interesting stop. The pork roll (Australian style) was something I'd go back for. Nothing flash just a warm crusty roll with nice pork and crackle. Reasonable value for money and convenient. Tempus 2 and Meerie wines are also on-site providing wine tasting (other larger restaurants are also within the complex). For those with bladder issues, toilets... More

Great selection of picnic or drinks accompaniments. Avoid peak times to browse in relative peace. At the time of our visit the staff were trying to remain pleasant but were clearly overrun by the numbers of visitors. We could not find any disabled parking here.

Amazing selection of cheeses. Lovely selection of favoured olive oil dressings to sample and buy. Food available. Great coffee shop too. Come and try it.

Crowded, over priced, and a poor knowledge of what is being sold. After eventually settling on a cheese we got it home to find it wasn't even made in the area.
