Keenly felt part of history swimming in this pool carved into the rock by convicts... I hope they were rewarded with more than the beautiful vista they would have surveyed. A gorgeous spot and the water is cool and crystal clear.
Well I think this should be the no.1 thing to do in Newcastle!!! Gorgeous spot ! So much fun! I’m 5ft and I managed to stand up in the water which was great for me!

This is the most amazing place to swim! Out of the way to get there but the best to find and swim. They have improved the setting with much safer stairs for access. The rocks around it remain slippery. Go in low tide, too dangerous...More
